Summer Portzen

Summer Portzen graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Finance and Real Estate. Currently serving as the Dallas County Treasurer, she has dedicated a decade to public service within the county. In addition to her role, Summer is actively involved as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission for the city of Adel.

Her interest in the property tax department initially stemmed from a passion for investing and financial management. With a robust educational background and extensive professional experience, Summer entered her current role well-prepared to contribute effectively from day one. She considers it a privilege to serve the citizens of Dallas County.
